Booking your Blood Test

One Ellesmere Port Primary Care Network is a collaboration of the six local GP Practices across the town who are working together with the common goal of creating a better future for their patients. As a part of achieving his goal, the Network has worked together with colleagues from the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust to introduce a new Phlebotomy (or blood test) service for Ellesmere Port.

From Monday 5 October you will be able to access a dedicated blood test clinic located at Stanney Lane Clinic in Ellesmere Port (Stanney Lane, CH65 9AE) and it will be available to patients from across the six practices in Ellesmere Port.

The clinic will be open from 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday.

If you have been told you need a blood test by your GP Practice, you can book your appointment online by following this link http://www.coch.nhs.uk/blood-test-booking and clicking the ‘Stanney Lane’ option. Your GP receptionist can also do this for you.

If you have regular blood tests, please make sure you inform your GP Practice prior to booking your appointment to ensure that the appropriate documentation can be completed on your behalf. Please do not book an appointment without consulting your GP Practice first.

When you arrive at your appointment, you won’t need to take any additional documentation such as blood forms; you simply give your name, date of birth and address details to the clinic.

Please note that the new Phlebotomy Service does not have a telephone number. The telephone number for the dressing service previously located at Stanney Lane Clinic has moved with that service to their new location and therefore you will not be able to access the new Phlebotomy Service via this number.
