Our practice has an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) with 14 members. The group is led by a Chair and Vice-Chair, who were elected by the members. Our practice care coordinator works closely with the PPG, which meets quarterly either in person at the practice or virtually for those unable to attend.

PPG Aims and Minutes
The aims of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) are as follows:
- To foster a positive and collaborative relationship between patients and both medical and administrative practice staff.
- To provide patients with a clear and influential voice within the practice.
- To organise informative sessions on medical and health-related topics that interest patients.
- To support the development and organisation of self-help groups for patients.
- To assist in fundraising efforts for additional equipment requested by the medical team.
- To focus on achievable goals and implement small but meaningful changes that improve patient care.
- To work constructively and collaboratively with the practice and local organisations to find effective solutions.
- To conduct research to understand what matters most to patients and share these insights with the practice.
- To encourage and support patients in actively participating in their own healthcare.
